These License may be purchased at most marinas, Wal-Mart or on line.  Yearly License are available as well as life time license.  If you pier fish or go on a charter boat, the owner or captain may have purchased a pier or Charter Boat License.  You will need to check with them.

North Carolina Marine Fisheries Main Site.  Fishing rules and information about North Carolina Fishing.  Starting Jan. 2007 All saltwater fisherman must obtain a Saltwater Fishing License.  You can obtain fishing license information from this site below or click on the link.
